We all drove to Limberg one evening for dinner. It was like walking through a storybook. We want to return to Germany one day. There's so much more to see.

Wiesbaden, Germany January 2010
Five hours from Paris to Wiesbaden to visit Linnea, Jim, and Kirsten and Kaitlyn, good friends since first grade in
St. Paul. We stayed in their beautiful home in this lovely tree-filled old spa town. Just a few miles north we visited a rebuilt Roman fort and museum
on the northernmost frontier of the Roman empire. Catching up on homework, exploring, fun dinners and our first real cold since leaving Minnesota. It got all the way down to 29! Not easy to take pictures with snow and fog.
Paris January 2010 The Louvre
Visiting the Louvre on our last day in Paris. The Mona Lisa, Napoleon's apartments (the Louvre was a palace in a previous life), room after room of fabulous art, so much more to see the next time.
