Albaycin

 This is the old part of Granada built on a hill rising out of the city across from the palaces and gardens of the Alhambra.    

Kyla lived off this plaza below when she went to school in Granada - La Plaza San Miguel Bajo

 The Alhambra is in the distance - originally old Moorish palaces and  fortifications built by the Muslim conquerors more than 1000 years ago.   When the Catholics took over Granada again in the late 1400's they added more buildings and palaces.
