Our last day in Rome. More walking and exploring before catching the train to Civitavecchia, Rome's main port about an hour away. More beautiful bridges, statues, vistas and ruins. The ceiling of the outdoor portion of the Parthenon was once covered in bronze that is now the huge canopy in St. Peter's. It's the oldest intact Roman building, saved because it was converted into a Catholic church.
